Lucky us, on Thursday, 13th of May, fortune stroke our ways, as we got the chance to see the band that has brought the idea of “Run For Zimbabwe“ to us. In a tight location packed with people, State Radio tore down the stage and enlightened our hearts with their music. People were stoked, impressed and enjoyed themselves visibly during the concert. So everyone rush, there’s only tonight in Munich and tomorrow in Berlin, before the guys cross the ocean and keep up their touring in the USA.
Apart from the music Chadwick, Chuck and Maddog – being State Radio – are involved in an essential amount of humanitarian projects, especially in Zimbabwe.

On their website they state:
“The band is dedicated to delivering more than just music. And we have come to expect more from our fans. We want them to be activists. We want them to be organizers in their own community. We want them to see the inequities in the world, gather, use their voices, demand change… and be that which they want to see in the world.”

And so we did. Talking to the guys and educating them about our project, reinforced the idea for “Run For Zimbabwe” and motivates us to continue with our action. Chadwick was the unfortunate guy to swap my sweated “run4zimbabwe shirt” with me – sorry for that
– however, we hope that it will be a nice memory and a good feedback to what you achieved with your music, guys!

Thanks again for getting this rock rolling and we’ll keep you updated on our longboarding tour! Good luck with the rest of the tour!

Great stuff you guys! Really lucky that you got to see them in such short notice (I’m guessing).
I hope one day I have the chance to see these guys playing live, I enjoy listening to their music.
